We are planning a “Kentucky Loop”, which includes riding go-karts, visiting a mansion, and touring the Jim Beam distillery. This will be an overnight trip that will also include lunch at the distillery, dinner at Cattlemen’s Roadhouse and a trip to Henry Clay’s estate, “Ashland”. We will stay at the Hampton Inn in Brooks, KY.

Agenda

Day 1: We will drive approximately four hours to the Jim Beam Distillery for lunch and a $28.00, 1.5-hour tour. We will then proceed to Kart Country to drive the “Thunder Road” go-cart track, America’s longest go-cart track.   Kart Kountry also has miniature golf, batting cages, and an arcade.  After 3 pm, we will check in at the Hampton Inn. Dinner will be at Cattlemen’s Roadhouse in Shepherdsville, KY.

Day 2: Depart Hampton Inn after breakfast and proceed to Henry Clay’s Estate, “Ashland,” for a $25.00 tour. Lunch is at the Ginko Tree Cafe, which is located on-site.
